Happy Halloween

Trick or treating, catching up with friends on the sidewalk only to be dragged away by a child wanting more candy, carving pumpkins, hayrides . . . I love the fall! Halloween has to be one of the greatest inventions. You get to play dress-up and your reward is candy! How fun is that?!?
Let the carving begin!

Erica worked hard carving her pumpkin. Okay, so maybe I helped her a little bit.

Earlier this week, the students were able to attend a family reading event at school and then trick or treat afterwards. Ethan took part in the fun. Daddy took the Ethan and Erica around to the other classrooms trick or treating while I handed out candy at my classroom door. This is a VERY popular event at school. We have many, many students and families attend.
Ready to Trick or Treat!
Halloween night we gathered with our neighbors for dinner before heading out.
The neighborhood kids
Luke as Wolverine is holding Noah as Pooh, Princess Erica, Ethan the policeman, Vampire Jake
Ellie as Nemo and Pirate David
Luke and Erica love Baby Noah!

The big kids were ready to trick or treat. Mandy opted not to wear her Octo-Mom costume tonight.
