Bifocal Beauty

My Bear was told that she need bifocals. Paul and I opted to purchase new lens for her existing frames. Good idea, right? That's what we thought. The frames had stood up to the Ellie test . . . being yanked off Erica's face almost daily and many games of tug of war. If the frames could withstand that, why should we buy new ones? Less than one week of having her new lens AND a four days past the one-year warranty on her frames, Erica's glasses did not survive the Ellie test.

Erica has been without glasses, wearing prescription swim goggles in the meantime, and once receiving her new lens, she had to sport duct taped frames. It is a good thing that she has two giant dimples! She can pull off the swim goggle look with sweats in the middle of winter or duct taped frames. Several weeks later, she is now fitted with frames and lens!

You need my frames? No problem, I will wear my swim goggles with 6 inches of snow outside.

She is SO HAPPY to have her glasses fixed.
