"We interrupt this marriage for football season."
A friend has a plaque with that saying hanging in her home. I often feel that way come fall. Paul (and I) enjoy watching football, so we were thrilled to learn that Ethan was able to play flag football this fall. The program is very well run and organized (expect parking). The players all practice together and were taught the basics at practice. Just recently they were divided into teams. Saturday afternoon Ethan played in his first football game. I was very excited to see my little man enjoying the game. We even found ourselves rooting for the opponent (our neighbor, Jake, is on the other team).
