Ethan's first day of kindergarten is just around the corner. Paul and I recently took him shopping for all of the items on his supply list. I finally had the opportunity to label all of his stuff today while the girls were napping. Ethan proudly placed each item in his backpack and zipped it up. He then practiced how to put on and take off his backpack all by himself. He even encouraged me to practice just in case he needs help. He even hung up his backpack! A little while later, I noticed Ethan lounging on the couch with his backpack. My first thought was "everything is smashed!?!"me: What are you doing?
Ethan: Waitin' for school.
Me: very soon buddy
Ethan: How many hours?
Me: uhh . . .
