Ellie has been toying with the idea of walking now for weeks. Monday evening she finally decided that she was going to do it. I love the Frankenstein walk: arms straight out, picking up the feet and plopping them down, they lose this walk too quickly. One-year-old has been my favorite stage with all of my babies. It is such an age of discovery. Each day has something new and wonderful in store. They learn so much.
